[White Ox] is arguablly the most well known Korean artist Lee Jung Seob's work and it is generally accepted there are nine known versions of "Ox" or "Bull" paintings.  The Ox was the subject of paintings throughout his life. His “Ox” series can be characterized by his use of bold lines, making the animal look powerful.  [White Ox] is in the permanent collection of Hongik University Museum, not in the Hongik Museum of Arts on the same campus.
