Korean artist Lee Jung Seob, alternatively spelled Lee Jung Seop, died at the young age of 40 in 1956.  He lived in Seogwipo, a capital of Jeju Island, Korea, from January to December of 1951, a year after Korean War broke out.  The Korean War broke out in June, 1950 and lasted three years.  During his short stay in Seogwipo, he produced many of his best works.  He was in poverty and couldn't afford painting materials so he used tinfoil papers, which came from cigarrette packages.
