Completed in April, 1910, Liebermann started to stay on his summer residence on the edge of Lake Wannsee, southwest of Berlin from summer of 1910. Liebermann and his family would be residents of the villa between the months of April and October until his death in 1935.
He is known to paint around 200 paintings of the garden at Wannsee. Here is another one.
