Nico Klopp is without a doubt one of the most gifted painters that Luxembourg has produced. Despite his untimely death, he earned himself a place in the pantheon of the nation’s great artists. The lines of his prints and the broad expanses of colour found in his works are typical of early 20th-century European art.
