France issued 12 different artworks of close-ups under "MASTERPIECES OF ART - CLOSE VIEWS" series. Booklet of 12 self-adhesive postage stamps are issued at the green letter rate. The stamps are illustrated with details of masterpieces of art, all from either musee d'Orsay or Louvre Museum.
